About Exaviz

Exaviz designs carrier boards for Raspberry Pi Compute Modules, so one small board can do the work of a PoE switch, a video recorder, and an edge server.

Exaviz is based in Noblesville, Indiana. We design carrier boards for Raspberry Pi Compute Modules, including the Cruiser family and the Interceptor, along with the Debian DKMS packages and drivers that run on them.

A single Exaviz board brings PoE camera power, network switching, storage and compute together. Security integrators can run the recording software of their choice on one board instead of several boxes.

What we stand for

  • Fewer boxes. One board does the work of a PoE switch, a recorder box and a server.
  • No cloud in the middle. Video, storage and switching stay on your site. The board needs no Exaviz account and no Exaviz cloud.
  • Open by design. Run the VMS and the OS you choose: Raspberry Pi OS, Debian 12 Bookworm or 13 Trixie, or Ubuntu (25.10 or 26.04 LTS), with our packages from apt.exaviz.com.
  • Clear supply chain facts. HTS codes, ECCN and self-attested NDAA statements about the boards’ own components are in our trade compliance statement.

Custom boards

We also design custom carrier boards for product companies that need their own hardware. Email sales@exaviz.com.
