This LYD 48V 6A power supply has been tested and selected by Exaviz for use with the Cruiser Carrier Board. We evaluated multiple brands before choosing LYD - measuring voltage stability, thermal performance, and efficiency under real sustained load. This is not a generic supply sourced from a random listing. Rated at 288W continuous output, it delivers clean, stable 48V DC power with only 2.1% voltage regulation. At full rated load it runs at just 42°C after 30 minutes of sustained operation - notably cooler than the 4A model (53°C) despite its higher output, giving it solid thermal headroom for demanding configurations. Idle draw is under 9W, making it practical for always-on applications like NVR systems and smart home hubs.

At 288W, this supply is the recommended choice for a full Cruiser board running 8 PoE+ devices at 802.3at power (up to 30W per port). If your build uses fewer devices or lower power per port, the LYD 48V 4A Power Supply may be sufficient. Not sure which you need? Compatibility

• Exaviz Cruiser Carrier Board (recommended - supports full 8-port 802.3at PoE+ usage)
• Exaviz Cruiser Lite Carrier Board (works, but the 4A supply is sufficient and more cost-effective)
• Exaviz Cruiser Keel Carrier Board (works, but overkill. The Keel accepts any 13V+ supply, and a 13V 3A supply is sufficient for most configurations)
