This LYD 48V 6A power supply has been tested and recommended by Exaviz for use with the Cruiser Carrier Board. Rated at 288W continuous output, it delivers clean, stable 48V DC power with only 2.1% voltage drop under sustained load and an idle draw under 9W, making it a solid choice for always-on applications like NVR systems and smart home hubs. At rated load it runs cooler than the 4A model (42°C vs 53°C), giving it additional thermal headroom for demanding configurations.

At 288W, this supply is the recommended choice for a full Cruiser board running 8 PoE+ devices at 802.3at power (up to 30W per port). If your build uses fewer devices or lower power per port, the LYD 48V 4A Power Supply may be sufficient. Not sure which you need? Built by LYD and carrying UL Listed (cULus), FCC, CE, RoHS, and SAA certifications under UL file number E336005, the same quality standard as the 4A model.

• 1x LYD 48V 6A power supply with DC barrel cable (5.5/2.1mm, center positive, compatible with Cruiser Carrier Board)

Compatibility

• Exaviz Cruiser Carrier Board (recommended — supports full 8-port 802.3at PoE+ usage)

• Exaviz Cruiser Lite Carrier Board (works, but the 4A supply is sufficient and more cost-effective)
• Exaviz Cruiser Keel Carrier Board (works, but overkill. The Keel accepts any 13V+ supply, and a 13V 3A supply is sufficient for most configurations)
