This LYD 48V 4A power supply has been tested and selected by Exaviz for use with the Cruiser Carrier Board. We evaluated multiple brands before choosing LYD - measuring voltage stability, thermal performance, and efficiency under real sustained load. This is not a generic supply sourced from a random listing. Rated at 192W continuous output, it delivers clean, stable 48V DC power with only 2.0% voltage regulation and a measured temperature of 53°C at full rated load after 30 minutes of sustained operation - well within safe range. Idle draw is under 8W, making it practical for always-on applications like NVR systems and smart home hubs.

At 192W, this supply is well suited for the Cruiser Lite (up to 4 PoE+ ports) or for a full Cruiser board running devices in 802.3af mode (up to 15W per port). Built by LYD and carrying UL Listed (cULus), FCC, CE, RoHS, and SAA (Australia) certifications, this supply meets the same quality standard as the 6A model under the same UL file number (E336005).

Compatibility

• Exaviz Cruiser Carrier Board (all 8 PoE devices in 802.3af mode, or fewer devices in 802.3at mode)
• Exaviz Cruiser Lite Carrier Board (recommended)
• Exaviz Cruiser Keel Carrier Board (works, but overkill. The Keel accepts any 13V+ supply, and a 13V 3A supply is sufficient for most configurations)
